thoughts on 2013 bmw 323i convertible

wifes saw a 335i 2013 convertible 75000 kms
- been reading on the net...the engine for this could have issues from water pump to valve cover to leaking oil gaskets...not sure if to stay away..as well it has a hard top...people still drive hard top convertible in the winter without issues for the hard top
thanks

also would you buy the warranty for $3360 for 80000 or 48 months,,its a custom one
would choose engine coverage
which includes
cylinder block..heads,,all internally lubricated engine parts,,manifolds,,timing gears,,timing gear chain-belt,,timing gear cover,,flywheel,,oil pump and housing,,water pump,,harmonic balancer,,ohc carries and covers,,valve covers oil pan engine mounts,,turbo charger supercharger housing internal parts valves,,intercooler..with this coverage 100 deductible...
thanks

wife would only drive approx 10000 kms a year
as well we have a 2011 bmw 323i..bought as well used , and purchased after market warranty and never did use it and that has 12000 kms on it...

great site

I had a 2013 335i sedan with the M performance software and exhaust. It was one of my favorite cars to of owned as it was Alpine white on black. Very nice styling and super fast. I never had any issues out of mine for the time that I owned it. I traded in it for a X5 because the kids were too big for it. Otherwise, I would of kept it and let the wife drive it. Check the maintenance records and off all is in order I can't see any real issues with it. An extended warranty isn't a bad idea, but if you can do the work yourself you'd be better keeping your money on your pocket.

You are better off asking in E90post... The 335i engine from the 2013 is an N55, its decent till it starts having troubles. been there done that, keep up on the maintenance. on the other hand, my 323i is still running great even after 250,000km, the current owner still enjoys it every day.
