Hi, Hood Insulation problem with my 2018 X5

Guys, I found my hood insulation fall apart because I smelled something is burning. I conjecture the animals ate my hood insulation. I am worried about trivial sponges will cause an unexpected fire.
By the way, how much would you accept for getting new hood insulation?:confused00 68:

You have been lucky until now, some of these rodents love to chew the insulation of the electrical cables.

Clean it up and leave it off, but be sure to deal with the varmint problem, otherwise your wiring harnesses are next.

You can purchase Bitter Apple at any pet store.. It's a spray on solution that has an awful taste. It's for stopping pets that like to chew on furniture.. It should work and be virtually undetected.
