My problem is the DSC malfuction all the time sice picked up the car on Spetember 27 , 2008 and dealer told me that the DSC malfuction because of a "Code", need order from BMW Germany then I've been waiting 15 days already and today I called my dealer, he told me even they enter the code to the car and the problem is still there and so many M3 owner have the same problem, BMW is still working on it and figure out! One of my from told me it really SENSOR problem.
My probkem is getting worse. because when DSC malfuction, the EDC and Cruise Control are totally not working, either!

Same deal here. It's some steering angle sensor thats defective for me. Goes on rnadomly when I do a tight turn like pull into a driveway. Still waiting on the part myself. I drive like I always do when it comes on.

JD Power is just going to savage this car as one of the most unreliable.

I'd like to jump in with an order for an 09 DCT with everything but extended leather, but I really don't need any extra headaches or regular visits to the dealer so I can get a Chevy for a few days while paying off my M3.

I had thought that waiting for an 09 would be enough, but now I'm not even sure about that.

When the DCS malfunction light comes on does it send info to BMW? And if so does BMW contact you regarding the malfunction?

Ah now I know why you hit me up on AIM, haha. Your car isn't spying on you and it doesn't send any info to BMW.
