Hello, just reaching out to see if anyone has experienced this issue and how to resolve.


Error Code 1D2008 - map thermostat stuck open

Prior to error code I noticed the temperature gauge was really low. The fan also ran on full blast once but returned back to normal.

I don't have any experience with it but guessing a thermostat replacement is in order. Do you have ISTA? You can create a test plan to confirm.

I have Bimmercode and was able to verify the following. Not sure if it can be the sensor or the actual Thermostat.

You need a new thermostat chief. The code is self explanatory.
