Have an appointment to get my tint done trying to decide between the two. The pinnacle is $375, stratos is $550 plus the windshield which is Llumar air blue 80 for $150. Pinnacle blocks 78% infra-red, stratos blocks 98%. CTX is also an option

I have Stratos on my F80, Pinnacle on my FJ.

Interior of car was cooler despite being parked outside on a hot day (but Pinnacle may have a similar effect).

You'll be fine with either. I've had the Pinnacle on the FJ for 13 years and still looks great.

Just FYI, it's Ultra-Violet (UV) that gets blocked, not Infra-Red. I've got Pinnacle F1 on both BMWs and have had no issues with it currently and on previous cars.

I just got Stratos 30 installed on my f80 and only thing I regret is not installing it as soon as I bought the car. Stratos truly brings down the heat temperature. It was 99F the other day and with the AC on for 69F at the lowest fan setting it felt extremely cool inside the car. I'm going to go back and get the Stratos 70 installed on the front windshield to have full protection and heat rejection. I highly recommend stratos.

No. The specs are so close you probably can't even feel a difference.

Would skip CTX and get the Pinnacle if they are the same price.

Agree that the difference is so minor in terms of TSER that it's not worth paying an extra 200 for. Especially if you leave the car parked outside in the sun for a long time. At a certain point, it will just get really hot no matter what tint you have on the windows. The F1 Pinnacle 15% is good enough that you never feel hot while driving. I also have had the 30% but felt it was way too light and ended up replacing it with the 15%.

Agreed. Around 45% TSER is where I would say the law of diminishing marginal returns begins.

Save your money. I don't believe Stratos is worth it.
