Found another M4 convt to purchase, looking for opinions

This is a convertible 2016 with 51k miles, price is $38k.
Has most options I think.
Also had Fabspeed exhaust, which is not made it fit on convertibles, so that is a problem.
The exhaust might be making a noice or vibration, the salesman said.
Does anyone know this car, located in PA?

this car does not have most options, and was modded with a poor fitting exhaust system. It is also a northeast car. Pass

You can buy an OEM catback exhaust for cheap (200-350$). Look on Bimmerpost exhaust classifieds here you'll find one.


Also, that cars missing the lighting pack. Dealer breaker for me. You should know that you're compromising on it before you buy it those xenons aren't gonna age well

I am not a 100% similar with the M4 and all the options.
Thought if it has all the buttons by the shifter and additional buttons under the headlight switch, it was good.
I really want the lighting package, also.

You'd want the adaptive suspension, which is the suspension button to the left of the shifter. If it's blank, no adaptive.

Look for HUD (nice M only dynamic tachometer).

Also, lighting package is a MUST. The base xenons look like shit now that they're making new M's. The full LED ones will age better

How can you tell if you have the lighting package just by looking at the car?

Use a VIN decoder like https://www.mdecoder.com/ and look for this:

S552 Adaptive LED Headlight
S5AP Decoding Anti-Glare High-Beam Assistant

It will show up in the window sticker as this:
