Is Apple CarPlay and enhanced bluetooth standard in 2018?

Hi for 2018 M4

is the enhanced bluetooth and apple car play standard? The car I'm looking at does not have either listed on the sticker.

Also can wireless charging be retrofitted?

What’s enhanced Bluetooth?
The car might support CarPlay but you might need to “activate” it. Dealer or owner should be able to figure it out on the connected drive page for the car with supported features.

I have a MY18 F83. I don’t remember if I needed to pay for enhanced BT or not but think I did. Apple Car Play was a $300 option I did not take. It is still available to me for the same $300.

In the U.S. there is an additional microphone and mobile office included with enhanced Bluetooth. Probably some other features as well but those were the ones I cared about.

My 2018 did not have carplay as an option in the idrive store. Paid a forum member to activate it for a fraction of what it would have cost from BMW.

However the connection was spotty at best - took out the radio and noticed it was missing the wifi antenna. Bought an OEM one from ECS tuning for $20+sh and now the connection is rock solid.

yeah my 2018 M3 didn't come with carplay and was not available for purchase on the connected drive menu.

Wireless charging can be retrofitted but the 2018 OEM hardware does not fit/support Max or Plus sized iPhones et al
