HKP Tuning&Performance Shout out!!!

Hi All!

Just want to give a fat shoutout to Phil over HKPTuning !!!

I was looking for a GTS hood for the longest time and wanted the OEM fitment but did not want to drop $6k+. Came across this other post where Phil sourced a Krass Technik hood (AKA OEM manufacture but not OEM price) and thought I'd reach out. Phil picked up and we ended up talking for longer than I realized. To my surprise, he had an extra damaged GTS Hood laying around that he didn't want to sell. It took some convincing(I was persistent) but one morning, he decided to sell me the hood as he wanted to put a smile on someone's face as he was dealing with a tough situation on his end...

Long story short, got the hood, worked with my local shop SVB (Best shop in NORCAL) and got the hood painted and fitted perfectly...

Throughout the whole process, Phil was awesome to work with. Updated me everyday on the shipping status, took detailed pics prior to selling me the hood to inform me of the damage(It was a scratch size of a finger nail lol).

Overall, I'd recommend 10/10. Exceptional customer service.

I am glad it all worked out and the car looks fantastic and we were able to be part of it!!

As many questions on the hood already came in through the PM system. We would like to point out that KrassTechnik does no longer have these V2 hoods available and therefore we needed to take them off our shop earlier this year. There is very little hope they will come back unfortunately leaving the community with OEM option as well as some other 2x2 replica versions.

If the situation changes, we will let everyone know.

Yup! They do everything on my car.

Plenty of other GTS or CS hoods out there but Krass had OEM Fitment
