X5 front passenger window sun shade
Hello,
Purchased a 2017 x5 CPO this weekend and now researching car accessories. We picked up air purifiers, cargo nets, seat hooks and 12V-USB converters. Wife hates the sun, to the point I think she may have vampire lineage (other reasons lead to similar conclusion ). Shopped around on Amazon but nothing looked good. Any recommendations for window sun shades? Would BMW original retractable sunshades cost a bomb, any similar alternates? On a related note, any other must have x5 accessories that you recommend? TIA |

Unless you've already done so, check here for all the available OEM accessories -
https://www.getbmwparts.com/c-bmw-accessories-1 I don't see any front window shades, only windshield shades. By retractable shades, are you talking about retrofitting something similar to the rear window shades on the front window? I've never seen that done, seems like a lot of retrofit work. Plus it would be distracting to drive with it - how about just tinting the front windows to match the rear, that makes for a better overall look anyway. |

I think my best bet is to get one fo those suction shades, they aren't pretty but get the job done. |

Any tint? Geez You can go Llumar air 90, which is practically clear, and provides >99% protection from UVa and UVb. Also has slight heat and glare reduction.
