My guess is throttle body actuator failure.

Both TA's replaced, thermostat and now coils and plugs and it's still having the same issues? What's next? O2 sensors or MAP sensor?

Did you do anything right before you started having this issue?

Valve cover gaskets? Or anything like that?

You've got me stumped. I'd look into fueling issues: maybe your fuel pressure sensor or moving your injectors around to the other 4 cylinders to see if the misfire follows them. If it's your injectors, I'd have them serviced. I went through Mr. Injector (online) for my motorcycle and was very happy with it. My M3 will be getting that service too soon enough.

Also I'd double check to see if your plenum is seated properly, which you'll probably do anyway to get to the injectors.

run ista test plan on the Idle Control Valve,

followed by checking the exhaust to header interface for a leak, then verify accurate lambda readings.

So I believe my mechanic found the problem. He did a lambada probe test above the primary cats and found out that my upstream O2 sensor on bank 2 errors out above 500 celsius, which would explain the misfire and limp mode.
