Bass Audio Fading Out
I discovered a strange problem with my prem. sound system and wonder if anyone else has encountered this.
Since owning the car, I noticed that I was constantly having to adjust the bass. I finally looked into this and found that the sub under the driver's seat stops playing bass intermittently. I am bring the car into the dealer for a check-out soon. thanks, Greg |

Nope. Never had this issue. Plenty of bass ... all the time :-)
I have noticed, as the months have gone on, the stereo sounds better and better. I think it something to do with the speakers being worked in .... very pleased with the premium/high end/individual sound now. Thinking back to the old E46 M3 Harmon Kardon stereo ... with the rattling rear sub ... the rattling door speaker .... quite a difference. |

This happened to me last week on the way home from work. On this occasion it was my iphone that was plugged in, instead of my old ipod. The EQ settings were the same on both units. There was NO bass at all. I unplugged everything and restarted my phone and then everything worked fine. I'm sticking with just the ipod from now on.
