Poll: Who likes the Blackline LCI Tail Lights?

I've had these tail lights for a few months now. Although I like the LCI design, I'm starting to not like the blacked-out housing in relation to how it looks with everything else on my car.

Maybe if my wheels weren't black they would look better. I think there's too much black going on.

Interested to hear your thoughts!

Ugh I saw them on a white F80 that was lowered on TE37s and I thought it looked pretty good.

Listen man don't let these opinions sway yours.. if you like them rock them. Your asking bmw forum members for their opinions on your taillights. At the end of the day they are opinions. The majority of non Bmw owners would say they look good. I personally don't hate them but I also wouldn't put them on a bmw. Just has rice all over it. This is all coming from bmw owners in a bmw forum.

First off, I accidentally voted No but it should be Yes lol. My bad, read it too quick and thought you meant the other darker red version that comes on the CS which some people call "blackline". I'm not even sure what it should be called but its just darker than the standard red lights.

Second, I think these look great on certain colors and how they are modded. If you have a Comp pack where everything is gloss black trim and you're running the M Performance full kit with CF bits, then adding these OEM BMW lights enhances the look. If you're running stock or using chrome parts like the base M3, then it doesn't really flow well.

Lastly, these should be coded to work as daytime running tail lights. It lights up the curved lightbar and makes it really pop during the day. This gives it more of a red light, but it contrasts with the black housing better.

See a few pics on mine and a buddy's SO. And NO, they don't look anything like Altezza lights. These look like the newer G2X and G8X tail lights, which is modern and clean.

LCI, Shadowline and Blackline
Riced out? Lol
I guess mclaren and all the high end cars tail lights are riced our too as most these days come blacked out
Hey a Yugo comes with red tailights when they work so does that mean the stock tailights look Yugoish?

If you do mods to make others happy you will never be. Too many opinions out there

I was wondering if the Blackline would look better on Sakhir Orange since the red in the Shadowline "competes" with the Orange paint. Hmm.... hmm....

Listen man, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. Although I don't like them and a bunch of people on the internet told you they don't like them either, I wouldn't let that sway you if you do like them. It's your car, do what you want.
