Passenger side heat not working

Just the other day the vent on the passenger side quit blowing hot air. Driver side works fine. Anyone know what could be the issue? Thanks.

To be more specific, the passenger side is blowing cold air, even though the temp. and vent wheel are both set to high heat. I've shut it off and on several time, cycled through auto on and auto off. Nothing but cold air. The fan works fine, it's the temp. that's the problem.

Possibly the 4 zone climate actuator behind the dash.

Any codes?

One day I had the blower at full blast and couldn't get any air out. Only happened once. Who knows why. See if the problem persists.

I don't have a device to pull codes. Looks like a dealer-fix-it situation is in the making...

Hopefully not the actuator. My X5 had its replaced. 26 hour job under warranty.

Is your center passenger side cold/hot dial set to hot?

Yes, it's set to hot.

I've read elsewhere that it could be related to the AC needing recharging. So I turned on the AC, and the heat worked on the passenger side. However, the next time I tried it, it didn't work, just blew cold air despite everything turned to hot.

At this point, I'll just bring it to the dealer.

Thanks for the responses.
