good buy? 2015 M3
Hey guys new here. Looked at a 2015 M3 DCT the other day.
-Mineral Grey Metallic -Silverstone leather It has 38k miles, 2 owners, clean carfax, its a pretty base model, only options are 19" 437 M Wheels and Adaptive M suspension. My question is any issues with the first year model run I should look out for? I wish it at least had the Executive Package so that it would have backup cam and Comfort access. The seller is asking $39k. Good deal? or do you guys think I should look for one with more options. Thanks |

Having a backup cam helps a lot. Also with the comfort access you never need to touch your keys. It seems like this might be a basic model with some options. Does it have LED's or even leather seats? Got a link to the car.

+1 - I have always liked the silver stone interior but you have to stay on it constantly from a detailing perspective. If you buy, clean + protect w/Colourlock or comparable products ASAP.

I have a '15 with DCT, Executive package, and the silverstone interior, 36K miles. Only issues I've run into were a leaking right rear diff seal and a torn left front ball joint boot, both fixed just before warranty ran out. No problems with the interior other than some slight wear on the driver's edge of the center armrest (which I touched up myself).

Comfort access and HUD are two features that I didn't really care that much about when shopping but now that I have them I can't imagine living without them. It's not impossible to retrofit CA or buy an aftermarket HUD, but IMO would just try to find an F8X with the exec package.

I know the markets changed, but I picked up my 2015 2 years ago, every option for $38k in Sarasota. Clean title too. (Most used 2015s had damage reports when I was looking)
Apart from oil changes and spark plugs, I’ve only had to have the rear diff pinion seal replaced, and replace the top mount intercooler, which I did myself. I daily drive it and currently have 65k miles. Good luck In your search! |
