Those of you that have done your OFHG

2008 e90, pre April 2008 build date. Oil Filter Housing Gasket. I’m a bit stuck, I can’t get to the 3 bolts towards the passenger side of the housing. ISTA says to un mount the PS pump. I’ve done that but still can’t get in there.

Do I need to remove the AC deflector pulley assembly?

In all threads about this job, this isn’t discussed. I’ll post the info in those threads once I figure it out.

Thank you!

The answer is yes, unbolt ps pump and hose mounts but don’t disconnect the ps lines, also remove AC deflector pulley assembly. Move over to the left and you can access the ofh bolts behind there. I updated the diy thread.

My gasket was leaking pretty bad.

If your mileage is high you might wanna change your oil thermostat while you're in there.
