ModeCarbon: Review & Photos

Hi all,

I haven't been active here for a while but I've been a member here for a long time and some of you may even remember me back at throwback e46fanatics, mbworld & bimmerworld.

I've recently came across some pretty bad reviews on ModeCarbon saying that they are unresponsive with horrible quality and customer service.

I just want to remind you all that ModeCarbon has been around for many years and they were always top notch on their products, customer service and support.

I've ordered my GTS-V2 lip a few years back and I got my product within the 2 week window they advised on. I ended up cracking my extended lip and needed a replacement and at that time the team at Mode offered me a great deal and also sent out the product rather quickly.

I have always had the best experience with them and always highly recommend them for products. For my next car (very likely another M for me) I would definitely purchase from them again!

Just wanted to share my 2 cents. Here are some update pics of my JZB M3 with the ModeCarbon V2 lip

Cheers to all.

Like I said, just my 2cents.

I’m sure they got dealt a bad hand and got screwed by their suppliers due to the global pandemic.

Also didn’t help that this guy got into a horrible accident and had no way of letting his customers know. From what I saw, his car was totaled.

An experience from a few years ago doesn't have much relevance today...

You have to stand behind your product and have quality control in place prior to shipping poor product to customers. Bad molds should not be sold to customers.

Fitment and quality of the weave is what people are buying, and customer service goes a long way when things go wrong.

I don't work for them. I'm just sharing my experience on working with them before. That's it.

Although these are both understandable excuses one of the problems was their IG was still posting stories and pics while people are being ignored. So people were leaving comments on the pictures about getting ignored while their money was missing and those comments are being deleted. Kinda shady sounding if it was all an honest mistake.

But still managed to be on instagram keeping the feed active? Or was that someone else doing marketing that also had no idea that their employer was involved in an accident of some sort?

based on your comment you have no idea what MC did to a lot of people during 2020, lied to dozens of people about parts being shipped, lost, eaten by bears, etc....... the list goes on.

not an honest mistake, they were trying to hold money with no products to ship.

Sorry to hear that there have been issues with Mode in 2020. I have bought 2 GTS V2 front spoilers from them and 2 replacement splitters. The quality and fit on all parts was outstanding. After 3 years of use my latest spoiler/splitter looks brand new. Hopefully they can resolve any production/customer service issues quickly.

2020 was a difficult year for many. I hope that MC can resolve the issues they have had and the challenges they have faced. I have an overall positive experience with them over the years and wish them nothing but the best. They have been a integral part of this platform and some one the most notable builds over the years.
