VREDESTEIN QUATRAC PRO 469M tire feedback?

Hi, I have a new set of Bridgestone Dueler's H/P Sport Rft on my 469m wheels on Xdrive 35i and got stuck in the snow. My car also rolled off the driveway when I parked in snow even with the parking brake set and the car was off & locked so the car went into autonomous mode pretty much. So I am looking to get these based on the reviews on tire rack site. Can you guys give me any feedback on the VREDESTEIN QUATRAC PRO tires? Since the tire on my car now is summer tires then in winter my car becomes useless unless I switch to winter tires but I don't have the time to switch tires all the time so I need all-in-one solution tires+ my city weather is bipolar. Thanks

Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 are supposed to be an incredible all around tire. If you don't get a ton of snow and ice to justify dedicated winter tires then these look good. I have a set incoming that I plan to use as a 3 season tire and will run Nokians next winter.

Link not working above, would like to read your thoughts on those.

Conti also has a new version of the DWS06 out now called DWS06 plus. Supposedly much better in the snow than the original.

I got upgraded to 611M wheels and bought a set of Quatrac Pro, amazing tires. Quiet, great handling in rain and light snow (did not test in Tahoe deep snow yet but l these look very promising). I think these tires should be perfect for you, I bought mine with same intentions 85% of the time I drive in the summer/dry conditions but do go on the ski trips to Tahoe or drive to Reno over Donner Summit, so was looking for reliable tires for all conditions. Generally speaking I would recommend having 2 sets, summer and winter if you live in the area were you experience true winter conditions 3-4 months a year.

Here is what I wrote in case the link is not working:

Update on my switch to Vredesteins:

It has been approx. 1500 miles since I have had my new set of Vredesteins mounted. My initial impression is that the car is riding "softer" and the response to the steering wheel inputs are slightly slower in comparison to P Zeros. On the other hand, the ride comfort is much improved, the road noise is much less and the Vredesteins absorb little bumps and potholes very well.

I had DWS on my two previous F10 vehicles and Vredestein feels softer and less noisy.

When I drive thru large water accumulations on the road, there is almost zero aquaplaning.

This week I was able to test the tires on fresh and compacted snow and also on icy surfaces. The directional stability is amazing. Especially on turns, the car feels like you are driving on regular asphalt surface as long as you do not exaggerate. Plowing thru fresh snow (almost 1.5-2 ft) is no problem. The most impressing feature is the braking behavior. The car brakes without any drama and almost w/o ABS intervention on compacted snow at speeds up to 25-30 mph. When changing direction on snow or ice, you feel that the tires have a great amount of grip and you can feel that they "bite the surface".

Overall, the Vredesteins are a great all season choice due to their performance in cold weather conditions and their price.

This is what I'm looking at when the Duelers are done. Tirerack seems to live them.
