e92 to M2c

I assume may people have made this move, but with used car prices being what they are, I decided to sell/trade the e92 for a M2c. My dealer has an allocation and I will be getting it for msrp. Expected delivery is July and I will be doing the BMW Performance Center delivery in SC.

I am willing to bet I am going to miss the s65, but I also know a lot of high ticket items are coming due. I still need to do RB, TAs, brakes, etc.

Has any gone from the e92 to M2c, what are your thoughts on the M2c?

Ordered the M2c in LBB over black/blue seats, black wheels, 6mt, executive package.

Chassis feels a lot better, much shorter warm up, torque down low makes it easier to drive in low rpm situations, more playful, engine doesn't give you more the harder you push like s65, exhaust sounds mean but not good, engine kind of whiney, brakes more responsive, materials feel cheaper.

I got to spend a lot of time at the M-school is an M2c and I really liked it. Of the cars there, it was by far my favorite on the smaller "autoX" type track and it feels closer to an E9x in size and character than the current M3/4. It was small and composed enough to feel like you could really push the limits and let the smarts in the car help you out without feeling intrusive, the M4 on the small circuit and the M5 on the full track both felt like they wanted to kill you, in a good way of course.

Your chosen spec sounds awesome. Will you miss the V8, yes of course, but I think it will take a while before you even think about this once you have the new one.

I drove an M2 and M5 a couple of years ago at an M driving event. I wasn't thrilled enough with it to make me sell my M3 for one. The exhaust note is just not the same and I though the ride was too harsh....
The M5 on the other hand was a total beast! If I had that kind of cash I would upgrade to that!

I have an E92 and an '18 M2 (Non-Comp). The cars are both vastly different in every way. I love them both for different reasons. The M2 is much better as a DD or in traffic. I'm sure you will enjoy it, they are really fun to whip around.

The E92 feels a little stiffer and more direct. I know a lot of people complain about the newer electronic assit but I just don't find it to be something to complain about. I am not a track driver though so take that for what it is.

M2C is awesome! Congrats

I did 2 track days with the M2C at PBIR and it does everything great.

The brakes are great, rotates just how you want, you really can just point it. I went e92 to f8x, except m235i in the middle. It was hard choice M2C v F80 I wanted the extra doors but wish I could have both!
