Cracked leather seat on the side

I watched a YouTube video of some common issue with the f15 model, one of which is the side of leather seats can crack. I then went to check my car, sure enough it is cracked on driver side. I wonder if it's under warranty that I still have on the car. Anyone has experience of this? Thanks.

Factory warranty, 48 months or 50,000 miles one.

A decent upholstery shop can probably fix it easily. I believe if you get the seat cover replaced now, the vinyl on the side is replaced with Dakota leather so it doesn't crack as easily. From what I know only the Dakota leather with the vinyl side were prone to crack completely.

Mine is Merino and it has deep creases but isn't cracked.

I called my dealer, they ordered the cover, will be going to install next week. Confirmed it's covered under factory warranty

I might check into it, thanks. It's obviously from use as the passenger side seat is in fine condition.

This goes for anything else that could be wrong or go wrong with the car. It's 4 years from date of in service or 50,000 miles, which ever comes first unless you purchased an extended warranty or you have CPO.

I had the same issue. They fixed it under warranty and made it sound like it was done as goodwill.
