Have any of you ever had an issue with your RPM's dropping really low, below 500 after starting the car cold, then shooting up to about 2000, then normalizing to around 800-900. The whole thing only lasts about 5 seconds. Any ideas? It just ran out of warranty and I don't want to take it in. Thanks.
FYI....it's a 2017 X5. |

I get the same issue but not consistently, it may do it once and then not happen again for a month then it may happen once every couple of weeks. I have a '17 X5 35i (N55) as well but with ~32K miles
