BMW Search function

On my '09 M3 Coupe I paid the $199 for a year's subscription to the BMW Assist Convenience package. There is a search function listed which is active and it tries to connect and stop saying: "Currently not available...please trey again later" I've been trying for a week to hook up...does the M3 not have that function?

Thanks.

You should call the Assist Center and make sure that they enabled the Google search (I'm guessing it is Google Search, as you paid for it thru the Convinience Plan).

BMW is now claiming that BMW Search (Google Search) only works on the regular 3-series and not the M3.

How can be possible that the whole 2009 M Series are equipped with a less capable Assist feature list (the damn hardware is the same) than even the whole 2009 1 Series?

Isn't that some lame Project Management in there?
