Delay when Engaging gear

Hi guys,

Can you indicate if this is normal behavior when taking off, even at slow speeds , seems like a delay in engaging gear.

Vehicle : F80 M3 , 2016 , 20000MILES

Likely DCT and yes it's normal on the first gear at the beginning. If you gas heavy in first gear from a complete stop it will be jerky.
