Premium package

Hey guys this is my first post here on m3post. Iv been over at m3forum for a while now. Im coming from a E46 M3(which i still own now) cb/black smg competition package. I wanna get into a E92 m3. I have located a car but the car doesnt have premium package. The car has BMW assist as a stand alone option along with carbon leather. My question is:

-Does the premium package tie in with anything else performance wise of the car. I know i wont be getting a Universal garage door opener, compass, and power folding mirrors but will i be missing out on anything by not having a premium package?

Thanks for all all input.

Nothing that would affect the performance.

Good luck with your purchase!

No. No performance gain at all. It should be called the Convenience Package for all intensive purposes, haha.

I originally didnt want it, but opt to get just leather seat, then while waiting for the car to be built I thought of CF trim for another $500. This made both option at $1500, so why not just get PP for another $500 said my CA so I went for it. Assist, mirrors, compass, garage n tooth.

but if you dont care for those, I agree its really not much importat M performance value added to the mix.

The premium package also includes upgraded interior trim. So, if this is not spec'd on the car as a stand alone option (either aluminum, carbon leather, or wood), you will get the default plastic Titanium Shadow, which is not necessarily great.

Since the car has BMW Assist, about the only other thing you would gain from the PP is power folding mirrors and bluetooth. If the latter two are of no importance to you, pass on the PP.
