Not a Super Sport.

PS4S was the replacement for the Super Sport.

To be fair Michelin's tire range doesn't make a bunch of sense to me either. They throw sport in everything now.

It looks like there is no change to the Pilot Sport 4S (PS4S) which replaced the Pilot Super Sport (PSS). But apparently there was also a lower tier Pilot Sport (no “Super”) that was replaced by a Pilot Sport 4 (PS4) which is now being replaced by a Pilot Sport 5 (PS5). So don’t think this means anything to the PS4S unless / until a PS5S is released.

Not sure that is right but that’s the way I read it. Yes, their naming convention is confusing.

In short...basically a replacement of PS4 (which is different from PS4S)....which eludes to a PS4S (possibly named PS5S) in the future.

A successor to the PS4S has not been announced, yet.

It'll be interesting to see how close to the PS5 gets to the PS4S, and when Michelin decides to release a PS5S...

Even thedrive is confusing this info by using 4s and 5s to mean plural 4 & 5! Seems like it’s time for some Michelin tire model name changes…

, great bunch of car enthusiasts.

And yes, the 992TT really rocks on track. Needs zero mods. I only slapped on PSC2 with a good alignment and obliterated my previous lap time records on every track. Amazing machine.
