Smile My Dream Car Yas M3 F80

Hello All,

I'm new to the forum and excited to be back in the BMW family. I recently purchased my dream car, 2016 BWM M3 in Yas Marina Blue, with Sakhir Orange interior, DCT.

My journey into BMW begins back in 2009 when I bought my first BMW, a 2003 BMW 330i in Alpine White, automatic. Owning a few Honda's prior to this, a few D-16's, 99 GSR, and 06 S2K, BMW was the next step up in the car game for me. I had full pump issues with the 09 330i which forced me to get rid of it but I stayed with the urge.

I purchased a 2013 BMW 335i M package convertible in 2015, that paved the way an love for the ultimate E92. Soon after I sold the 335i and purchased my first M, 2009 BMW M3 E92 in Jet Black with DCT. I really loved that car and it truly solidified the obsession. I had full bolt on, intake, headers, full straight pipe exhaust. After a year of owning it and reaching 100k miles the transmission went, and was forced to sell it. Since the E92, I had a few Audi's (A4, S3, S5). But after many years of quattro, Audi to me became a safe kinda fun, not like the feeling my E92 brought me. That same year, 2015 the new F80 had released, at first, just as the new generation of G80's are being released, I was skeptical and upset about the change from naturally aspirated V-8 to I6 Turbo. However, upon seeing the new Yas Marina Blue on the F80's come, I knew then, my dream car.

This year I purchased my 2016 BMW M3 in Yas Marina blue after trading in my 2021 Maserati Levante which due to the car market I was able to make a nice trade out into the BMW. I love this car, everything about it.

Upgrades:
I started with Tints, and changed out the steering wheel for the M-Performance alcantara steering wheel, along with the alcantara Emergency Brake Boot.
I installed a CS carbon fiber wing on it and am currently waiting for my carbon fiber aero package, CS front lip carbon fiber, lower splitter carbon fiber, side skirts carbon fiber, and P Style rear diffuser carbon fiber. Now that the exterior is almost complete, I am missing rims.

Please suggest in the comments, rims you would consider and fitment. Currently looking at the HRE FF10 in black or putting G80 Competition rims in black. Can someone confirm if the G80 rims fit on the F80, do I need spacers?

What performance mods should I start with, intake or downpipe first?

What ECU tune, JB4 or Dinan?

Thank you guys.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news. The F80 and G80 do not share the same wheel bolt pattern.
