Winter trip to the Nurburgring
Just got back from a winter road trip up north to the Nurburgring (you know where Porsche, Mercedes, BMW and others test all their cars!
 ) Unfortunately as expected it was closed but I had nothing else to do while waiting for weather to clear up in order to fly back into Afghanistan in the early AM. So what better to do in my spare time than to check out one of the best and most difficult auto courses in the world. I mean what would any self respecting M owner do if he/she had a few hours to kill in Germany and an Audi rental? LOL  SO ..no I didn't drive it, yes it was very dark and snowing and closed but without further delay...here's the Nurburgring after dark (for those who haven't seen it at all! The hotel Ring side is very nice by the way. Oh yeah the autobahn was wonderful as ever....loved it...only Germans will do 95mph in the snow! If I only had my M3 and some spring weather! Sounds like a good trip - even though it was snowing / dark / closed. Now you can look forward to your next trip back. Thanks for the pics.
