No, there is no way to tell. BMW intentionally does this to make sure no one edition is more valuable than the other.

1000 CS's were imported here in the US. Even though there are technically more of them, I would expect the CS to be considered much more sought after and would hold value better. That get's my vote, the CS.

I'd get the CS. Heritage cars don't even have HUD or top view cameras.

Here’s the CS I’m considering….same dealer, my CA from changed to an Acura dealer, which I found weird but when I saw his used car inventory I understood why haha I wouldn’t normally buy from a non bmw dealership but I have been dealing with him for 6+ years and he’s always took care of me when I’ve dealt with him. Let me know what you think

CS has my vote. Will likely hold value much better than the heritage as well

If you're not getting a manual you need to get the CS.
Actually, the heritage is a very stupid option, because you can't even get the executive package with the lights and cameras. I'd rather have a comp, with everything, in a manual, but that's just me, otherwise I might have gotten an LSB heritage, with all the packages |

I was actually leaning towards the CS as well….what about in terms of buying from a non bmw dealership, it’s an Certified Acura dealership…I trust my CA and his dealer seems pretty reputable especially in terms of pre owned sports cars, they have everything like Mclaren 720’s, gt3rs’s, multiple Urus’s, multiple cullinans, a handful of M’s and I even counted at least 7 911’s…..definitely best preowned lot I’ve seen….thoughts???

Be curious to see more pics of the front end, the front bumper looks painted.
As others have said, to me the CS is the no-brainer over a Heritage edition.

heritage gets you some cool colors for sure. sucks they only give you the base model headlights though.

The CS looks awesome and if it weren't for the dull black interior I'd have probably been in one. Seems like such a let down considering how striking the exterior is. Tough decision.
If you get the CS please take those ridiculous carbon fiber covers off! |

I see so many heritage edition m4's in the nyc area it's hard to believe there's only 750 in the world.
I doubt Bmw lied, just crazy how many people buy these cars out here. I know 3 owners and have seen a dozen probably. |

Anyone know how many of the 2020 Heritage Ed were imported to the US? I have one in Velvet Blue and love it. I couldn’t find any info on import number. Only that there made 750 of them.

The CS doesnt have all those cameras mine has executive package and only the back up camera. Unless Im missing something. if BME took out the access sensors in the door handles and blind spot warning and everything else to save weight what makes you think they would keep extra cameras lol
I personally like the alcantara interior. they could have put a little something of a pocket in the door card IMO lol. but I dont miss them. CS gets my vote but Im biased |
