Idle hunting

So, just started getting the occasional idle hunting. Aware of the breather valve and ICV issues and my 2013 E93 is at 45K. It seems to do it more right after a fill up so I am hoping that means it the breather vice the more expensive ICV. Guess we'll see.

I hated chasing down that issue, I got it fixed by throwing money at it.

MAP sensor, oxygen sensors, breather valve, injectors, and fuel filter.

GL!

Breather valve fixed it for two years for me. Seems to have started coming back, but i'm hopeful it was just bad gas....

The breather valves can go bad again. Also check the low pressure fuel sensor near the left strut tower/firewall area. Previous owner of my car fixed a similar problem with that.

Breather valve is an inexpensive part and not a difficult DIY, perhaps start with that.

Fuel filter? I thought there wasn't one. Where is it located?
Thanks!

Maybe it's placebo effect, but the car seems to be idling much smoother in general now after replacing the breather valve and both hoses.

The real test is immediately after a full fill up.
