Adaptive Headlights M4

Good afternoon,

Can UK specification M4 adaptive LED headlights be programmed/altered to work driving on right side of road?

Look under Lights settings in idrive. if it's not there, it could be coded in. i think that it's also however possible to code the headlights themselves to adjust the pattern for right-hand side driving.

worse case scenario, just don't use auto headlights and high-beam assist.

Thanks.
I’ve just heard back from BMW in Spain and they say the lights need changing to be legal apparently.
The option to make changes in idrive was not there unfortunately.
Adaptive lights that don’t adapt to driving on opposite side of road is a bit shocking on BMW’s part if you ask me. Especially when their other German high end competitors lights do adapt to driving on both sides of road.

I've seen a 7 Series F01 have that option in iDrive. New G-series BMW have it now from factory as well. Though not sure how it is then with high-beam assist.

I think it could be coded by some specialist, I'm not too versed in this stuff, but try asking around on m3cutters and see if anyone could do it before you get new LHD headlamps.
