2016 X5 Battery

Replacing my batter and am having trouble finding a like battery

In the 2016 X5 sDrive I have a 105Ah 950 A / 1920RC 950CCA (single battery setup)

All I can find locally is at O'Reilly, All specs are the same but it does not list the Ah, only 95R H9, Someone in the comments states it is a 105Ah but someone else ( I think O'Reilly tech support) states it does not have an Ah rating. Also it does not have BEM.
So, I am confused.

I have the equipment to code and register but I want to make sure I get the right battery

Thanks!

{You stumped me…what is BEM?}

Look for any H9/95R-AGM battery. They all basically have the same specs…and are generally manufactured by one of three battery manufacturers in the US market.

You can find an H9/95R battery at many places with different brand names…but if you take note, many of them have the same battery case design but just different color or different color label on it. I believe the main MFGs in the US are:
  1. Johnson’s Controls
  2. Exide
  3. East Penn

You usually can find an H9/95R AGM battery at:…just to name a few.

You can see the specs of the East Penn batteries in the chart below. Again, the other mfgs, may have slightly different specs…one may have higher CCA, but lower RC…but basically they are the same battery.

You may find some H9/95R batteries that have 105AH…and some may be 110AH…as long as the AH specs are close…you won’t need to code any changes. But you WILL still need to register any new battery.

Thank you! This helps greatly, This battery at O'Reillys should do it then.
