Anyone order from Obsessed Garage

I've been trying to order some products from Obsessed Garage lately, but I find their shipping rates to be so prohibitive.

Does anyone order from them? Any recommendations on ways around their high shipping costs?

I've heard very good things about their drying aid, and I wanted to try it.

Thanks.

if you can't find the drying aid anywhere cheaper, then there is a reason its priced that way on his website. awesome YT channel, a bit too much for me tho IMO

i love his stuff

unfortunately the way around the shipping is to sign up for hex plus which is his subscription service

you get 10% off products and free shipping but it's a pretty hefty annual fee

the drying aid is nice but it isn't the end all be all

it still streaks for me on dark paint if i use too much but it doesn't have the dusting issues that bead maker has

Their shipping rates on small things are annoying. That said, I usually wait til I want something bigger. I haven't ordered much from OG, but I've always had a great experience when I have. Got the garage lights from them and they arrived in three days

I've never ordered anything from OG and don't plan on it. There are countless places to order high quality car detailing products. If OG's shipping makes it challenging, I wouldn't think twice about going in a different direction. FWIW, I've detailed my own cars for many many years and have tried countless products. I've found that quite a bit of what's on the market is largely the same stuff wrapped in different branding.

I appreciate his channel but the amount of money he wastes on things is incredible. To know that this is what I'm funding is a hard pill to swallow. That being said just because I don't know how the owner of adams lives doesn't mean I don't buy his products.

It’s a drying aid. I doubt the stuff is going to be that much better than anything available from the usual brands, especially if you are planning to use it every wash. Griots ceramic speed shine and Meguiars hybrid ceramic detailer come to mind. I’m currently switching between P&S bead maker and Meguiars pro hybrid bead booster.

CarPro Exile is a excellent drying aid. My M4 gets nothing but Carpro.

I usually watch Pan the Organizer, and try out his top recommended products. I guess I will try the Extreme Solutions topper? I was hoping to try OG, which is supposed to be an improved version.

my wife likes to say i am trying to pay for OG's kids' college education ahead of my own kids

she'd be even more pissed if she realized our money was going towards lavish e36 builds and dry ice machine beta testing

he's crazy (he admits it in his signoff tagline!) but what can i say? i like a lot of his stuff

And his OG House that he just purchased in mountains of Georgia. My wife isn't a big fan of his. She always states that he is so arrogant and cocky!! I haven't purchased anything from him, but I do listen to his podcasts occasionally.
