Anyone know this LSB F80 M3?

Hello, been on a hunt for a LSB F80 for a while now and saw this car on autotrader. Anyone know who's car this is?

Trying to find the previous owner and get a little bit more info on it. It looks like it's a branded title / lemon law for paint issue from a dealer.

Also I know LSB F80 are rare but what would be a fair price on this branded title one? Thanks VIN WBS8M9C51GP966824

The car has been for sale since May so must be something holding it back. If salvage was for paint job (maybe keyed) and it checked out in person after full PPI then maybe $45k unless it was wrecked then walk away. Lemon law seems strange for paint - BMW wouldn't have shipped a bad paint job out of factory. Great spec and 2016 is rare for LSB as most of the 75 USA cars were 2018s.

That’s definitely not YMB and VIN decoder says it’s an individual paint.

I think LSB was an E46 M3 color choice, as it does seem a little darker than YMB, but I wasn't aware it was an Individual choice for F8x. I did some checking and LSB was indeed an Individual color for the F8x cars, although I don't recall seeing it on the "Build Your Own" section of the BMWUSA website.

True individual colors have never been listed in BMW’s “Build Your Own” configurator.

Ask for a picture of the individual sticker in the engine bay. A individual with no leather no comp package seems odd. Possible but odd.

It was a simple $5k individual paint option and a genius add on this car, an otherwise base M3. Imagine a low mileage E9xM3 in LSB with stripper spec today. That would be $100k car all day as there were not many made and most people love LSB. On the F80M3 BMW offered an end of model run of a few free unique colors including LSB. There were a bunch of these 2018 LSBs produced by BMW and allocated to dealers. Any 2015 to 2017 LSB was a special order with a $5k up charge. Only 82 LSB F80s were made worldwide.

My Tanzanite M3 has an "Individual" sticker under the hood denoting the color, and the color was listed as "Individual" on the configurator.

Like I said possible but unusual. It's a great color for sure! If I was selling one I would include a picture of that sticker. I have and individual and the sticker shows the paint code.

I’ve been a long time lurker on this forum and I vaguely remember someone with a lsb f80 mentioning a factory paint defect requiring a full respray. It was a cali car for sure but you should be able to find info here...for what its worth. MFNATIK was the owners user name

Dealer isn't doing itself any favors, the pictures are horrible (typical for dealer pictures), which is ironic because they are trying to leverage the individual paint to justify that incredibly high price.

appreciate your knowledge on production stats and facts.

it is a laguna seca blue car with individual paint code 490. someone was very specific with their specification wishes. cloth, lsb and silver rims.
