If I flash my CAS with WinKFP will it brick my car?

I have updated many modules like DCT, PGA etc but I'm nervous about bricking the CAS unit.

Who's done it themselves using USB to Serial D+K Can cable? I have the "pro" version.

Someone posts on here say it may destroy the CAS unit. Thanks

i dont really think flashing the cas with winkfp will brick it, what will brick it is a bad power supply or not using one at all.

why do you want to update it?

I did it via normal D-CAN cable. But I have used Ista-P. I don't think that you need to worry. My 2 cents.

Everything else is up to date and I had issues coding 60AH AGM lithium battery because even though you write 60_agm to CAS the software is too old to accept it and it thinks it's an 86ah non-agm and then IBS system goes crazy and auto-start-stop stops working and who knows what it does to longevity of the battery.
