Door Handles Replacement

Was nervous to replace these door handles myself but wasn't going to pay $799 quote for the factory one. I watched 3 YouTube videos to get a good understanding then followed one along step by step. Took about 30 min from start to complete finish and voila, I did it with no hesitation. Parts are solid and good quality. The color may not be 100 percent matching but that is just being too picky. Wife and kids no longer have to use a napkin or a piece of clothes to prevent all that residue from the original handles getting to their hands. If you are somewhat handy with tools, you would have this done in less than 20 minutes.

Just did this myself over the weekend. Pretty easy to do. Only trouble I had was getting the window switch out of the driver side door panel. I didn't have a pick tool with me, so it made the job a little more difficult. Eventually got it. I ended up replacing mine with carbon fiber handles (not real carbon). I find myself holding the door handle while driving, lol. It's so nice not having to clean my hand off after getting in my car.

Did this on my E90 as well. Breaking the plastic welds is what slowed me down the most. Overall, super easy replacement. I think I got mine from Amazon for like $20.

Yes I didn't use tools when I installed mine, but later realized that it would be much easier to use tools, and I like the feeling of doing it myself
