Noise from brakes
Hi all,
Come on, someone has to know what this is… Changed discs and pads, so nothing to do with them. Doesn’t happen instantly, I have a constant squeaking on this side only, and eventually I assume when brakes heat slightly I get this creaking sound in the video below. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks |

Possibly that one of the caliper piston boots may be out of wack and binding some how. So probably the caliper piston boot(s) just needs to be cleaned up and positioned correctly.

finally got to the bottom of it, local M specialist found the issues, long story short, bent backing plate and lubing the hell out of the calipers have resolved it.

Had this on my previous car and started after i had to do an emergency stop!
Local specialist did the same as you and stripped down the caliper and loads of lube and all good from then on. |
