FS: Dinan strut bar - New
Bought these strut bars brand new but turns out it does not work with Haimus CF plenum. Comes with hardware and instructions $480 shipped Last edited by siulung2005; 03-06-2023 at 12:04 AM.. |

The inner mounting part is touching the the plenum. Not sure why. Maybe I have a brand new engine mount so it sits higher?

Not sure why but the Passenger side Brace sits lower than the driver side. I have Eventuri Plenum and had to shimed the brace up by about 3/8" to have enough clearance. The brace appeared to clear aftermarket Plenum the engine expanded when hot. I have seen several members here damaged the corner of the Carbon Plenum because of this.

mine initally looked like it wasnt going to fit but then i saw that the back of my haimus manifold wasnt all the way seated. seated it and it was perfect. it for sure is a tight squeeze but once its seated it was fine. no shimming needed on my end. i made sure to lube the couplers where the manifold connects to the ITB real good and it slid right in.

You will need about 3/8" clearance when the engine is cold. Anything less than that will have be problem when the engine is hot.
