i7 just arrived in Galveston port this morning

There’s a recall to be addressed (remedy available, I think it’s software to address passenger airbag issue associated with exec lounge) and hopefully it will arrive in Dallas in the next week or two. Very excited!

Unless things have changed, the car will probably be in Dallas near the end of next week.

That sounds about right. Mine took two weeks to get fixed and then another 10 days to be delivered.

In all it sat in storage waiting for the software update from Germany for about 2 weeks and thus putting all this into context, I have effectively been waiting for more than a month since the initial due date for the delivery of the car to me.

i7 seems to be getting quite a few recalls and I just hope that once we eventually get our cars we do not end up being constantly asked to return the car for further fixes.

Good luck with the final days and hopefully yours will also arrive soon and you will get to enjoy it.
