Took my 760 to the dealer for some fixes

And unfortunately not much came of it.

Headlight condensation: they opened a case with BMW but don’t have much hope anything will be done

Misaligned gas door: Service ticket said it’s fine but my SA said they ordered the part which needs to be painted. Let’s see what happens

Front passenger door/vent controls are dead: Part ordered from Germany

Car “forgets” my settings and ambient light goes back to default and phone isn’t lifted under mobile devices: Couldn't reproduce. Potential software fix but no new software is available for the 7 series

BMW assistant button required two button presses to activate: They said they could replicate which is BS as it happens every time for me. Potential software fix but no new software is available for the 7 series

Spotify/Car Play audio glitches: Said they couldn’t reproduce. Potential software fix but no new software is available for the 7 series

When the new part comes in I hope there’s a new software version. Based on my EQS experience I had a hunch getting a brand new model would mean minor yet annoying glitches and unfortunately I was right. Still love the car though.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Re, headlights I hope BMW get their act together and address it properly. Like I said from my experience in the other thread, replacing parts won't solve the problem.

I also have experienced the BMW assistant issue. Sometimes single press activates it sometimes it takes two tries. I wonder if there's a special trick to where/how to press that button. Overall, all the buttons that are under glass don't give good haptic feedback and many times they don't work when you press.

Also had Spotify glitches but would think thats easy to address with future software updates.

The most annoying issue for me is the headlights. Paying 130k for a car and get condensation like a 15 yo Sonata (even those don't condensate I think)

That's disappointing to say the least. But again .. classic first MY problems. I hope they all get rectified soon. I'm still waiting on my software update on the bluetooth/esim issue (they keep postponing every week and it's driving me insane)

Agree with your comment about classic first MY problem. BMW Corp called me today to get feedback on my experience with the car today and I told them about everything I listed above.

Did they advise on any rectification plans?

They said we have to wait for the next software update. Ordered a new gas door and the part for the automatic door/vent controller.

Nope. Doubt I’ll hear something until I take it back once they get the parts.

Here's one for you.My front towing eye cover disappeared sometime in December after delivery.Checked at my car wash and kind of looked around as I was traveling along my usual in town routes.It is Part# 51-11-8-081-535 and has shown as discontinued since it happened.Had a woodworker friend fashion something and painted it.Looks better than a hole in the bumper!Mine was one of the first delivered and,so far,I've been fortunate that this is the only problem.Sorry to post such a small thing,but kind of wondering if anyone has any suggestions for resolution.Also,I had posted previously about some rough downshifting when coming to a stop.So, I tried the trans adaptation reset and,Iswear, it worked!Much smoother coming to a stop and a little better throttle response.I still can't believe the improvements over the G12.I love it!

For the cover, did you ask your dealer to order it for you? I don't think a part that is used in a current car can be discontinued

Yes,tried dealer and parts supplier Get BMW Parts.Guess I'll check with the Genius Line.Must be supply chain,etc.
