Spoilers

I am new to modern BMW. Where can I look for carbon spoilers. no stands or bolt ons or that m performance one. Ideally id like more then a single option! and forged carbon would be sick but that wouldn't match the roof!

I'm going with RW Carbon G42 spoiler for cosmetics only. I've used them before and they're good quality at a decent price.

Apparently I can't post a link.

I have the G42 design and it fits great. AUTOID has them and several others. Right now there are about five or six designs available between them, IND, M Performance, etc.

The big issue I have with all the spoilers out right now is where the spoiler sits. Its back up on the trunk, then you have this angled edge of the trunk that is bare. Someone needs to manufacture a spoiler that spans the width of the trunk but mounts on the end portion that angles down.

Are the trunk lids the same on the M2 and M240? I think I should know this. Admonish me if I deserve it.

From my M240 and what I have seen of the M2 (and M240 spoiler fitting on the M2 decklid), I would say yes.

I think he deserves a free pass here...he is our source for timing and number of allocations at each drop date.

You are too kind, but honestly, I just didn't want to go to parts to check.

Here is a good look at the G42 M240 decklid to see the angled part of the trunk I am referring to.

The trunk lids are identical. We've sold loads to M2 owners already

ThatbI know. See my picture of the TNM M240 abive with stock spoiler (does not even deserve that title), any udeas if anyone will make any spoiler that will mount to the down-sloped part of the decklid (after where the stock spoiler is mounted). When the spoiler mounted behind that angled part, it makes it look off sitting behind the actual end of the top portion of the decklid. *hope I made sense*

It would be nice if someone did that but the typical two-sided tape wouldn't hold it - you would need permanent mounting points

Not sure about that but even if so, I would be good with a different/stronger mounting process for something that fit there and looked good.

Agreed, it's just a small market for people willing to permanently alter the trunk.

True but any wing will need to be permanently mounted and we already have two (one being the M Performance one...if that is mounted with double sided tape, good luck) and I am sure Akrapovic and others will put wings out for the G87.
