7 Series Coding

I tried BimmerCode with my Bluetooth adapter, but it seems like it’s not supported. Has anyone successfully coded yet?

I have a few crucial items I want to get done, starting with the damn auto start/stop that can’t be turned off in comfort mode.
I also want to play with the ambient colors (multi-colored all the time like when in Sport mode) along with other shortcuts and chimes.

Agreed.
I also want to set up default starting modes.
My biggest issue is the auto start/stop. It makes it for such an uncomfortable ride in traffic and neighborhoods with a lot of stop signs.

There’s a beta version available (I’ve been unsuccessful in getting my hands on it) and it will let you code simpler things such as video in motion but unfortunately tuning off ASS doesn’t seem possible.

I agree with you, in stop/go traffic or streets with lots of stop signs it’s very annoying. I usually switch to sport transmission in those scenarios but the downshift from third to second is usually pretty rough…

Exactly. Stupid problem to deal with. It's not smooth at all when the car starts back up again and kicks into gear (at least the smoothness you'd expect from this level of luxury). And I don't want to have to listen to a louder exhaust and rougher shifts just to avoid ASS. I can understand if the car is stopped for more than 5 seconds or something like that, but every time the speed drops below 7mph?!
