How to pass inspection while Tuned???

I’m in New Jersey and I’m tuned with MHD stage 2+ and need to get a new inspection sticker. Obviously i have no CEL thanks to the tune but my O2 sensors are not showing ready? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Not sure if there is a solution. In my M5 I have to flash back to stock. Its a pain cuz I have too many cars and don't drive a lot, so the flash to stock & add miles so everything is good takes time. Last year I did emissions late and since then next was only 8 months away I didn't even put my tune back on, this year I inspected on time and put my tune on the next day.

I went to AA gesi downpipes for that reason. I kept my tune and just made sure to not disable the CEL. Passed with no issues. My state just does the obd2 read.

Flashing back to stock I don’t mind but i still have cat-less DPs

Unfortunately the lack of cats aren’t going to pass that part of the emissions test. The swapping of DPs would be a pain which was why I too stomached the cost of the AA gesi catted downpipes.

If you’re not going to swap DPs that can pass well, you might just need a “hook up” from someone you can pay extra for that inspection sticker 🙂

Unfortunately unless you have gesi catted dp (which are $$), catless will always fail the emissions obd2 test for NJ. Sucks but one of the reasons I went back to stock DPs

Stack two spark defoulers to space out the sensors and turn the cel setting to oem in the tune. I pass no sweat tuned, fully catless and on full E.
