M235i vs M340i
I had an m235i 2015, n55 engine. I loved the car, tons of fun to drive, was excited to start modifying it... then it got stolen. To replace it I was looking at an M340i with the b58 engine, 2020. It is a sedan, it is 300 lbs heavier but man was I disappointed with the test drive. Felt big and bulky and wasn't fun to drive. I know the b58 is a great engine but my 235 was wayyy faster than that 340. Im now looking further to get into a 240. Does anybody have similar feelings, or think I'm full sh*t? what's your opinion?

Still new here, just made the account, thanks. I like my x drive(quicker off the line), and the price tag. Other than those stipulations I'd do an M.

Check into an F-chassis M240i or M2 with the B58, or the M2 Competition with an S55 engine.

Heya,
I had an M240ix before the F80. GREAT car, and the b58 is a dreamy motor. I would highly suggest getting into one of those if you like the smaller car feel. good luck! josh |

I have an S55 and a b58 (m3 and m240i)
Big fan of the b58 in the 240i plus the weight difference feels great compared to my m3. if you plan to have a lot of people in your car/kids i would get the 340i for the space but personally i love my 240i as a daily. super easy and cheap to mod also. |
