Found a secret button behind my A/C vent!

Hello everyone. I was replacing my headlight trim out for a carbon fiber one, but when I removed the ac vent I saw some zip tied wiring, a ground wire, and a switch. It’s obviously not OEM, but I have no idea what it’s to. The button was hidden away so it wouldn’t be a kill switch, and I don’t notice anything happen once switched on or off. Again the switch was not somewhere it was useable so I couldn’t see it being a ghost mode light, a kill switch or anything. Any ideas??

Absolutely no way to know; you'll have to trace that wire and see if there's anything at the other end of a sign of what it might have been. Could be anything from an ignition killswitch to underglow lights.

You m3 is "black" color, I wonder if it kills the brake lights without killing the headlights to go semi dark

Trace the wiring and see where it goes. If it was hidden that much, I doubt it's a switch that was used too often
