Switching fogs to LEDs? What do you use?

Looking thru the forum, a few old posts but nothing up to date. What are.you guys using for LED bulb replacement for your halogen fogs?

Why not switch to OE Led foglights?

because they suck! haha! in all seriousness our oem fogs are useless. i'd imagine you'd get better output/functionality from an aftermarket bulb, especially if you're going yellow

Well what functionality are you looking for? Driving lights? The reflector in the halogen fogs isn't putting any more light down than the LED foglights.
Also the halogen fogs use PWM, so its pulsed power to extend the life of the bulb, same as the E70.

This is what I'm asking. What are people using? Also, im not about to spend BMWparts prices in lieu of a basic bulb replacement.

oh i didn't know that. PWM changes things a lot with LEDs. i suppose they make an led bulb that is designed to handle this modulation with a ballast of sorts?

OP, i'd reach out to TRS (theretrofit source) and see what they have available. they carry all sorts of auto LEDs designed for fog lights.
