F82 M4 advice
Have been checking out 2015/2016 F82 M4's that have 80k+ miles that I will be using as a weekend warrior track car and begin to mod.
I used to own a 2017 M4 comp that I loved and have since moved on to a few SUV's and getting the itch to get back out on the track. Any known issues on higher mileage S55's that I should be aware of and keep an eye out for? Have read many of the immediate upgrade recommendations (brake fluid, pads, camper plates, etc) to get it running for the track and was curious if there is anything else that I should be aware of. Thanks in advance for any insight. Looking forward to going down this adventure. |

Similarly interested as we recently picked up a 2015 with 75k miles. Did a ton of research and besides the crank hub, I haven't seen anything serious or more prevalent in higher mileage S55's. No issues on ours so far. *knock on wood*

??? If you already owned one of these cars, what is it that you do not know already?
Crank hub is overblown here. It was and continues to be an opportunity for people to dump cash into tuners pockets in my opinion. Turning up the boost is a problem for any platform...

I owned one but didnt have any mods and had it through the lease with approx 36k miles. Not quite the same as being familiar or having experience in owning an m4 with higher mileage.
Simply was asking for input as to any pitfalls or areas to be aware of. Appreciate your insight. |

Owned a 2015 M3 last year with around 64k miles on it when I sold it.
Car felt perfectly fine and like new, absolutely amazing machine. Miles wouldn't bother me a bit. |

Other than the things yu mention I would do a good cooling flush and new flluid. Per haps new shocks/bushings or coil overs. Throw some new cup twos on it and track it until it tells you it needs something or breaks. I think these cars are pretty stout
