Annoying creak

Been noticing this very annoying creaking sound while driving around with the windows up in my E90 M3. Sounds like someone walking on an old wooden floor. The sound seems to disappear when the windows are down. Anyone experience anything similar?

Probably your door rubber seals. Recently picked up an e90 m3 and the creaks at low speed were similar to what you described. Tried this and 90% creaks gone.

It’s the door seals 100%. Quite common e90 issue not just the m3. Try the gummi pfledge on the seals but if that doesn’t work you can apply Teflon tape to the body of the car where the seal rides. Works 100% it’s what BMW NA has us do to resolve it when the cars were under warranty. Goes on clear and you almost can’t see it’s there unless you’re really looking for it when the doors are open.
