can i pry on the back of the diff output flange?
replacing the output shaft seal and am worried about damaging the stub. the back of it looks like a sheet metal cover, not a cast/billet piece.. diy i was looking at said to pop it off with a screwdriver, but i'm likely to dent it i think... https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1469414

For the record — yes but carefully. Used two screwdrivers at opposite sides of the flange to carefully pop it off. Still left a small mark on the back but seems only cosmetic.
