Hardwiring Dash Cam - Do I need Add-a-Fuse?

Hi guys,

I am looking to hardwire my dash cam using this hard wire kit, which already has a fuse built into the wires.

However, if I were to tap into an existing fuse, wouldn't I have to remove that fuse and use an add-a-fuse ?

If so, the add-a-fuse also has a wire going out which I do not need since the wires from the hardwire kit already has fuses attached.

In this case, what do I do? I tried searching but there's no add-a-fuse "adapter" that goes from 1 to 2 fuses without the extra wire at the end....

I just finished wiring my E92 M3 with a new 70MAI dash camera that has a very simliar harness. ACC+ 12v was hooked up to fuse #5 and then 12V source was hooked up to fuse #73.

Were those fuse locations empty or did you just remove the existing fuse without replacing it using add-a-fuse?

The fuse at the end of the wiring harness. Can you tap into that and add a fuse?
If not, cut just behind those fuses, strip the wires, buy appropriate fuse taps and wire it up.
