quality question: leather, outer frame, steering wheel
colleagues with an i7 and 7 (of course...)
i've got some questions about your car if you have the same issue... leather: having the full leather option i found some wrinkled leather on the back of the seat where the aluminum bar is. one guy i showed it to was shocked to see this in such a car... the slope towards the headrest also looks wrinkly, no picture there. outer frame (don't know how you call this, happy to learn!): the outer part seem not to be aligned properly. see picture. also the hood has some different spacings (no picture/measurment yet). steering wheel: inside i've got very sharp edges (see marking) which should not be there i'd appreciated very much if you could check this on your car and tell me what you find - do you think this is normal/acceptable or no (leather and frame, steering wheel for sure isn't)? thanks! It's related to the type of leather most likely.
It's a natural product, literally the skin off a cow, and then stretched to fit over all manner of unusual shapes. I have seen this in other cars with merino leather (e.g. my old M5) in various places. If you don't like it get sensatec/veganza... I think they tend to show this kind of thing less. Panels... that's not the worst I've seen. Be thankful you don't own a Tesla Dunno about the steering wheel.
