Picked my i7 up 2 days ago. They called me 3 days ago and said there was a stop delivery on the car but they managed to order parts and replace it in to so I could take delivery the day after.

My 2023 M740i is 3 months old and the passenger wiper wasn't cleaning completely. Next morning it came off, but wiper arm still wiped and scratched windshield. BMW service says nothing to do with the recall, and wipers not warrantied item. They are talking to BMW to get my windshield replaced. They used to have a tiny plastic cover on the wiper arm just to protect this, but for $110k no more...

fortunately keep using the recall tool (this one: https://bmw-recall-tool.netlify.app/) and Nothing has popped on my VIN related to the wiper system to-date. My vehicle was a HEA build (launch car) so hoping they built those with a bit of extra care

Mine is a early December 2022 build, and now shows up in the recall list even though it did not show when this was first described here. It has already had a recall for the seat rails. Waiting to hear from my dealer when to bring it in.

I have 3/23 build i7 and the vin doesn’t show up but for sure it should because I noticed an issue with them the first time we got heavy rain down here in Florida ..It doesn’t seem like they are going fast enough at the highest speed which was impairing my vision heavily

I was planning on bitching about the actual issues I experience in 8.0 like constant and random disconnects of iPhone / CarPlay etc with the Navi system so I could get 8.5 and see if it improves the issues

The issue that came out yesterday has to do with the steering wheel, specifically the hands free option.

Whatever it is, it’s urgent. I bought my car two weeks ago and I have at least 27 calls from the dealer and 8 voicemails asking me the bring the car back in.

Yikes. Sounds like they're circling the wagons in an attempt to thwart the imminent and incoming lawsuit attacks...!

My car going in for wipers today. Based on my experience with the seat rail recall, I expect at least a few days as they first determine if it needs new parts and then get them from BMWNA.

Lucky me. When I brought my car in, they told me my car is also covered by the steering electrical connection recall. They said not all cars subject to the recall needed repairs but I'm expecting it to be there for a at least a few days.

I also asked them took into Carplay disconnects to see if there was a programming solution. My disconnect have been few and infrequent, but they are annoying nevertheless.

Let us know how it goes. My i7 VIN just popped today for an open campaign for Defect Code: 0032470300. I'm assuming it is the wiper recall, or possibly the seat track recall. I can't seem to determine which and haven't called my service manager to inquire/setup a repair date.

My car went in Monday afternoon for the wiper recall and I was told the steering electric connection recall. It is back this afternoon, with new "wiper linkage" per the repair order. The steering issue checked out without the need for repair. They also changed my oil even though I have only 2600 miles. No loaners were available so I dropped off the car Monday and they gave me a ride home (about 15 minutes) and then delivered the car back to me today, which was all fine with me. For this recall, the parts were either on hand or quickly gotten.
I also asked them to look at Carplay disconnects and they did but could find no faults. When the car was back home and I put it back in the garage, carplay was active (and esim was connected too).
